Overview
of the Closing Process -- Introduction
Congratulations!
You decided to refinance your mortgage and have qualified
for a new loan. You
are 90% of the way through the process.
The final step in your transaction is the closing –
the meeting where your loan proceeds are issued, your old loan is
paid off, and your new mortgage is finalized.
The
closing is conducted by our Closing Agent. We will be scheduling
the closing for a time and place that is acceptable to you.
There are many things we will be doing to prepare for your
closing. Some of these
things require your cooperation, and we have prepared a list of
information we need from you and a list of things you need to do.
The
time leading up to a closing can be a hectic one.
Your timely cooperation in providing information to us will
go a long way toward ensuring that the process is a smooth and enjoyable
experience for all involved.
